A FEW SCRATCHES AND SLIGHT CHIP IN GLASS ON EDGE OF PLATE NOT AFFECTING IMAGE NOT THE BEST OF CONDITION BUT STILL PRODUCES A NICE CLEAR PICTURE OF VILLAGE GREEN in the Village of Stoke By Clare, SUFFOLK ? This negative is a fine reminder of mans reliance on horse-back, chariot, waggon, cart or carriage, from the only form of land travel possible until the 1840s and then the first steam engines.
