1860s Ambrotype – Photographic Portrait of Handsome American Couple

1/6 plate. I think this woman is pregnant, but maybe it is just her dress poofing up. Cant tell for sure. But a great couple. Super clarity and contrast, in good condition, gilt half framed case on plain wood, cover missing. Slight spotting, mostly around outer edges of photograph, gilt still bright, wear to red cloth border and case. A rare quality portrait hard to find.
